The Lincoln MKX makes a refined luxury statement with its dynamic American styling. Its distinctive chrome grille, clean, flowing lines and broad-shouldered athletic stance communicate confidence and elegance. Eighteen-inch Euroflange wheels and dual chrome exhaust tips signal power and performance. Wraparound tail lamps and a spoiler complete the rear.

Innovative technologies on the Lincoln MKX combine art and functionality. An all-glass available panoramic Vista Roof™ allows customers to experience open-air freedom at the touch of a button. Distinctive lighting includes a Lincoln first: available adaptive headlamps that swivel around curves, pivoting as the driver steers and lighting up to 36 more feet of roadway around a corner. In addition, an LED liftgate panel provides edge-to-edge illumination.

Inside, the five-passenger Lincoln MKX delivers exceptional comfort along with Lincoln’s hallmark craftsmanship. Its luxurious leather seating features Ford’s first application of its patent-pending Active Comfort Engineering process, with specialized contours helping to reduce pressure points and fatigue. The second-row seats recline to a best-in-class angle and can fold and pivot in one movement. Lincoln MKX provides comfort for all passengers, no matter the temperature, with available heated and cooled seats. The spacious center console offers customers versatility, with a standard MP3 audio jack and a power point hidden inside. Three additional power points also are provided in the cabin.

Dennis Morieko says (July 6, 2008 at 7:40 am):
MKX is my first Lincoln and I have it now 1 year and it's truly the best vehicle I have ever owned as far as comfort and overall appearence. I have only 1 complaint about cleaning the Vista Roof. It's impossble to clean the roof from the back doors. There is nothing to hold onto. Is this what is meant by "Reaching Higher"? I still love the MKX and definately would buy another !
Daniel Perrino says (May 23, 2008 at 5:10 pm):
I bought a 2007 MKX and I really like it. I have several criticisms of it and hopefully they may be addressed in the future. I agree with the guy that mentioned the lack of a handle on the passenger side. My wife noticed that right away. My main criticism is the the size of the front seats. The lower portion is too short and makes long trips uncomfortable. Also there is excessive engine and road noise. I like every thing else about it. Great styling, interior design, ride and accessories. The fuel consumption is good but not great.

I Love this car. It's really me. It reflects my style, sophistication and classiness of me as a woman at mid 40's - it is unapologetically classy and sassy without be overly flashy. I love the smooth ride and the powerful engine is really nice too.

WHERE'S THE HYBRID????
Steve says (May 7, 2008 at 11:38 am):
I agree. I would buy one today if a Hybrid was an option.
Ron Yasnos says (February 16, 2008 at 11:10 am):
Why doesn't Ford/Lincoln offer running boards on this vehicle? It is hard for "Senior Citizens" to get in and out of this vehicle. I noticed that there isn't an assist handle on the front passenger side as well. This makes it really difficult for them. We might sell even more if we had these items as options????

i think the side of the car will turn some heads

…[EDITOR'S NOTE: inappropriate/unrelated comment deleted by Editor]…This one of the most beautiful vehicles Lincoln has ever had in a long time. It dont look like other crossovers, its styling is clean and crisp. I love Lincoln, there new crossover/people-mover should be named the Lincoln Navicross. Make it better than the Mercedes-Benz R-class.

It's nice, but the front is a little ugly
Howard says (December 7, 2007 at 6:14 am):
I think the front in beautiful. I just bought one and the front design along with the camel interior/maple trim combination were the appearance features that I liked best. Unfortunately, for 2008 the mapel trim only comes with the black interior. This is a beautiful combination, but black does not work in my hot climate (Phoenix).

Looks even better in person. Love the retro grill and headlamps and would love to see this come back on all Lincolns. The Lincolns of the the early 60's were some of the most elegant desgins of that decade and the classic continental is still a favorite. If there is a way to integrate that style with the modern tastes for "sporty" sedans... it would be a winner.

Lincoln was just a new car to me. it was only last 2004 that i read the word Lincoln Aviator. I surf the net and check the website. I was surprised that my dream car the town car model is a lincoln car. Here comes there latest model variants called mkx.Maybe by next year i shoul have this. What I am worried when having a LIncoln is be exploded by people who hate American bec. as I look at the Lincoln car design is a destintively American design. This model is easy to handle, its compact but one thing lack to this is its the same with other crossover car.Whats truly advantage to this is that , it is safe and well looking both the outside and the inside. The luxuriosness of the car makes me driving like a car worth $70,000.
I fell in love with the MKX at the Houston Auto Show. Trouble is the front seats are TOO HARD. In the Houston Area, it is hard to get one of the MKX without the full Vista Roof. Not many MKX's are on the lots in Houston and they are slow coming in. I do says (April 6, 2007 at 12:48 am):

When will we begin to see hybrids in crossover vehicles on the showroom floor from a U.S. maker?

I love it I am a PROUD supporter of Lincoln can't wait for Lincoln out do "Caddy" I have a friend that has a Pacifica He thinks the world of it he also Ripped his bumper off thinking it was an SUV I told him it was a fancy Van lol. Then I took him to this site and showed him this MKX and he's ready to trade in. Ohhh the Power of LINCOLN!
SBoyd says (January 29, 2007 at 2:50 pm):
After a test drive I have a couple of observations: 1) The looks and luxury set the standard in the class. The fit and finish are excellent. With the standard V6, it goest toe-to-toe with the Lexus RX350. 2) This vehicle is heavy and with the standard 6 it seemed a litte underpowered at times. I agree with Steven Wilson; the MKX NEEDS a V8! It's not light and having around 320HP with 300lb-ft of torque would be a good start. 3) Where are the power adjustable pedals? 4) The ride is smooth. Just needs more power.....
Bruce Carter says (January 27, 2007 at 6:54 pm):
Thanks Lincoln. Growing up as a 'baby-boomer,' a Lincoln in your driveway was synonymous with success. What a great way to arrive at your destination. Well now it's our turn, and we can afford - and want to buy that [same] feeling. Just give us a reason to pull into the dealership instead of driving by, chasing the penta star. Way to step up. It looks the way it should be. After all... it's a Lincoln!
Jaspreet says (January 26, 2007 at 11:08 pm):
