The new Lincoln Navigator, America’s original full-size luxury SUV, will offer uncompromising levels of luxury, capability, functionality.

The Lincoln Navigator’s expressive design brings a unique elegance and an unrivaled presence to the full-size luxury-utility segment. Lincoln Navigator charts its own path, offering confident ride and handling, outstanding comfort and craftsmanship, and class-leading capability.

“Lincoln Navigator has always been in a unique class,” says Al Giombetti, president, Ford, Lincoln Mercury Marketing and Sales. “It offers a great blend of style and functionality, but more than that, it’s got street appeal.”

Lincoln extends luxury SUV capability even further with a new addition to the lineup. The Lincoln Navigator L is 14.7 inches longer than the regular model and offers luxury buyers an additional 25 cubic feet of cargo volume behind the third-row seat.

Whats taking so long for the Navigator Hybrid, they needed that for 2008 or 2009. They make me want to grab a Tahoe instead. But Im a big Navi fan
Robert Copeland says (March 14, 2008 at 4:05 pm):
I am driving the black Limited Edition..I receive lots of favorable comments. However, many ask about SYNC and with regret I have to tell them it is not available. Personally, I submit the Navigator should offer a heated steering wheel, some kind of a tray or organizer for the two consoles, dual exhaust, and a telescopic steering column as optional or standard equipment. This is the only Ford luxury vehicle I can drive comfortably [6' 3" 235 LBS]
fomocona says (April 28, 2008 at 3:11 pm):
Good news if you're still interested in adding SYNC to your Navigator. Recently Lincoln has made available dealer-installed SYNC for the 2008 Navigator and Navigator L. Please contact your dealership for further information and to verify your vehicle's compatibility. Ilove American cars, and this is the pure definition of true Amercican wheels ;-)
Michael Lum says (January 22, 2008 at 2:04 am):
The previous Navigator looked fine. Now the front end looks like a cheap chromed grille from the 1970s Ford Econoline Van, the side chrome panel looks like it was purchased at Pep Boys and taped on, but the rear looks alright, except for the square edges. I guess Ford feels it must change the styling every so often, even if it is done in very poor taste.
DR. EDGAR says (November 8, 2008 at 2:52 pm):
As a Proud owner of a 2006 LIncoln NAvigator I feel the same. I dont know why they came out with such a cheap version. I dont feel powerful in the new model, I look like crap. I want the new version to look more like a mobster vehicle.

Maybe but us guys speak and write English, and some of us can afford two and still think its UGLY.
leo jauregui says (October 10, 2007 at 9:14 pm):
This website is great i love all lincoln navigators ...i own one myself hopefully you guys keep it up ....we all know that the new navigator kills the brand new escadlade .....
DR. Edgar says (November 8, 2008 at 2:55 pm):
Sorry, but I disagree. I was thinking of getting the new escalade instead of waiting for the new model Navigator. Yet, as a lincoln lover i thought twice.
Fred says (July 2, 2007 at 7:44 pm):
Ugly, Ugly... the previous model is great and elegant! This think is rare and ugly!
Kevin says (June 8, 2007 at 5:42 pm):
I agree with the guys who are saying what happened to the looks of the Navigator.. the front and rear of the SV have gone awry! THe headlights are the window to the soul of the car, and these new headlights are hideous, and confusing to look at.

The rear end of this SUV, it's no better looking that the other cars with this ugly rear end.. U-G-L-Y!

The gauge package looks like something on a 70s Ford.

A I LOVE NAVIGATORS! I would have to buy the previous model to be happy!
johny says (May 28, 2007 at 6:42 pm):
I like much more the previous version (2002-2006).
Luxury says (April 4, 2008 at 6:44 pm):
It was 2003-2006
Joseph Barisich says (May 12, 2007 at 4:03 pm):
Will Lincoln ever put a diesel in the 2008 Navigator. Now that Nissan does not make the Patrol anymore people here in Latin America are scrambling for a super luxury diesel powered ride. The 2008 Navigator would be just the ticket. No one likes the new pathfinder and Lincolns are now being seen as the prestige vehicle here in Central America. A diesel version would bring all the fence sitters over to Lincoln. I hope someone is listening up there.....
sirraf says (May 2, 2007 at 11:24 am):
I like the looks of the Navigator and most of all the fact that the rear deck folds flat for more storage. The Navigator does have one short fall and that is it does not have Bluetooth.
justin says (April 25, 2007 at 7:25 pm):
that new navigator is tight the best i've seen inside/out.
Ry Guy says (April 18, 2007 at 3:04 am):
Where to start... what is with that rear end... The tailights are hideous. I hate how it looks like there is 10FT between the floor of the car and the driveway, put down some plastic like the previous model to cover that up. granted its an SUV, but we are all sure that this isnt going through the rainforrest offroading. That light wood makes me sick, literally. The steering wheel on the Fords look way better than this and to top everything off, you STILL have yet to find a designer for your WHEELS!! I feel like im going to have to make my dealer switch off my chromes from the 04 Aviator to put on this- not like id buy this because its not in m field anymore... Do what everone else is asking, more power, even though i think its relitively okay. And to respond to somone elses comment on looking like a 1977 Town Car, if you havent gotten it, that is the new theme: old.
James G says (April 18, 2007 at 12:31 am):
The Navigator is great SUV, the interior is awesome.
Bennie L. McGill Jr. says (April 15, 2007 at 5:44 pm):
I own a 2004 Navigator and an 2006 Taurus.I love Ford and defend Ford to all my family and friends but if the 2008 Navigator doesn't have more power. I will be FORCED to look at other SUV's. The 2007 Expedition does not have enough power either. Please MAKE SOME CHANGES. I don't want to become a GM fan!!!!!
