The Lincoln team shot one second of video every ten minutes over the twenty weeks it took to put together the new MKR concept car. See how a concept comes to life.
I truly hope that Lincoln will listen to the people. We Need this car on the market. I have always owned Ford, mercury products. I have recently been leaning towards buying a mercedes or BMW, but when I saw the MKR, my jaw dropped. It is purely the sigle most captivating car I have ever seen, and I must have one!! Please build it, the world needs a change from the usual mediocreties, and this car will do just that!! Make a statement!!!. Don't change a thing, just build it, and we will come.
Finally a Lincoln that looks like a Lincoln should look. It is reminiscent of the early 60's without resorting to the obvious and lazy retro thing. Please build this car and don't mess up the design before you get it in the showroom. This along with the other new developments you have come up with will make Lincoln reach new heights. This looks like a logical progression from the early 60's Continentals. Good job! Thanks, JW
LOOK HANDS DOWN I NEED THIS CAR, I WAS ABOUT TO BYE A NEW CAR BUT IM NOT GOING TO GET ANYTHING UNTILL I CAN GET THIS LINCOLN MKR.. I AM IN LOVE WITH THIS CAR PLEASE CHANGE THIS CONCEPT TO A REALITY CAUSE I DONT WANT ANYTHING ELSE...ONLY GOD KNOW'S HOW BAD I WANT THIS CAR, IT WILL BE MY FIRST CAR IV'E EVER HAD IN LIFE AN I JUST WANT IT TO BE THE LINCOLN MKR........LINCOLN IF YOU NEVER LISTEN TO ANYBODY PLEASE HEAR ME OUT ON THIS ONE, THE MKR IS FOR ME. ......(THANK YOU VERY MUCH)

I've driven Fords & Lincoln / Mercurys all my life. The MKR needs to go from concept to reality. With the LS and probably the Town Car disappearing from the American landscape, Lincoln needs a new replacement and I am hoping the MKR is it. Lincoln needs to move forward from ( your grand/parents kind of car) to My kind of car. I like luxury, ride, sound, and style, and I think the new MKR has it, because it's not my fathers Lincoln anymore. I hope Lincoln decides to produce it within the next two years because my current lease on my Zephyr is due in Oct/08 and I am very interested in another lease and maybe the MKR as long as they don't price it beyond what is affordable for the American driver. Too much competition out their right now and Lincoln / Mercury is going to have to follow as a leader or fall behind. Good luck Lincoln..

This was a great idea. I never realized how much effort was put into concepts. I hope this does not become just another non-starter. This is an amazing design and speaks American luxury. Hey Ford, thanks for not following the crowd. Remember you started all this, how about you reinvent the wheel once more. Show them boys how we do it here in the US of A.
