Ford has to kamikaze the market with a blitzkrieg of diesel half tons that nobody saw coming before 2010.
As Toyota sleeps, the Ford war machine sneaks up and invades the enemy encampment, taking back ground and sending Toyota screaming to development on the CAT tundra. The mighty CAT torments the defenseless tranny and pretzels the 2 piece aluminum driveshaft as Ford F150 Diesel owners pull over to offer what help they can to those caught in a trap of 60 months of payments . The Ford owners take their highway friends' kids to school, help them get groceries and give them canned goods but in the end, the tundra owner looks over and upward from his submissive (soccer mom elevation) position and hates the F150 because it is so hot and he knows he has many more payments on this feminine bucket of undersized parts.
F150 Poetry is offered freely.

Let's not forget that the real purpose of a truck is its utility value. When it's necessary, you can carry large, bulky items in the pickup bed. If the truck looks good while working then that's a bonus. This new F-150 does both. The most innovative feature is the fold-away step and assist handle in the tailgate. To keep the record straight, I'm a truck guy and I'm a Ford guy. I drive a 1996 Ranger 4x4 and my company still operates a 1970 full-size Ranger which we use everyday.

I personally did not feel any excitement on the new F-150.
In my opinion this has been Fords, problem since the early 90's .
I wish FORD, would submit all new vehicle design changes for a vote by all employees. (Yea or Nea)
