It is so nice to see some of the old Ford designs redone, with modern tec.. I have a 2003 F-250 Superduty, and it remines me of the 1953 modle year. this F-150 remines me of the 1949 F-1. Keep up the good work. And I have driven the best built amercan cars. I have a Ford.

I was wondering about the new EasyFuel system. In my town there has been reports of people stealing gas out of car tanks, and with no cap and no possibility to buy a locking gas cap, how safe is our gas in the 2009 F-150? Is there any kind of antitheft system for the gas tanks? And has the engineers considered this when creating the EasyFuel system?

What’s wrong with a retrofit kit to incorporate the process deriving hydrogen from water? At least it is an intrim solution until the oil magnates refuse giving US money to crude oil suppliers.

I like the ‘09 F-150 but have a drawback. The 5.4 is a great engine and a little smaller than Dodge and Toyota; horsepower has been bumped up (thanks to direct injection) but only to 310. The Mustang based 4.6 is 290. I was hoping for 330 to 340 and around 370 to 380 on torque

Will it hold up against Dodge and Toyota? Perhaps with the new six speed, that’s all it will need. I was set on buying one at the end of the year but I having second thoughts.

The F150 has the highest towing and payload of its competitors! The numbers on horsepower don’t matter if you can’t make use of them besides bragging in the barbershop. The power on the Ford is made on the low end, unlike others which have to really wind up to get those high numbers. my 3c

Nope.. it won’t I had a 2005 F150 FX4… Even with a tune, a catback, and an intake… I was still lacking the horspower and torque band of the other competing trucks… the 5.4 is capable of over 360Hp but FORD chose not to make it that way and WILL lose a lot of customers to their rivals…

when will ford redesign the ford torino? everyone will enjoy it, it will smash the camaro’s, corvette’s ,and chargers, and challengers….. it can open new oportunities for ford…..having two affordable muscle cars can stand the name FORD out…..mustang and torino…..

When is Ford going to come out with a deisel on the F-150. The new design looks great, just hoping for an engine with better fuel mileage.

I can’t wait till this truck comes out. I’m going to buy one as soon as they get on the market.
