we allready have this Mazda in Denmark! My uncle owns one of those!

From what I have read the US version will not look nearly as nice. No wagon for the US either. With higher gas prices people will be looking to get out of big SUVs, and station wagons could be a good alternative.

I sold my 2004 Mazda 6 and bought a trailblazer. Regretted it ever since. Now I’m getting ready to buy the 2009 Mazda 6 and forget it! The USA version loses the honeycomb grill which I like and the rear end just looks like your average Toyota! The USA version has the smaller Mazda emblam and the plate is up on the end of the trunk again not like the euro version at all! It looks like your average american housewife sedan, all the sexiness is gone!! I’d hoped it would look more like the old version with some new tweaks like standard auto lock doors, xenon headlights for all not just the sport version and maybe a few changes on the outside but not a total flip to look like a Honda or Toyota! Guess I’ll save my money and buy and old 2007 bodystyle while they still look good.

Bring the Hatchback and Wagon to the USA please. I would buy a hatchback as long as it is not ugly…The new Mazda6 Hatchback is not ugly.

I used to work at Mazda, I never really thought I wanted a Mazda Until I saw The 2009 Mazda 6. It has a sporty yet classy interior. Looks like the it has the class of a sporty benz. I excited cant wait to purchase mine!

hopefully the atenza will not be changed much for the U.S version. the grill and tailights are much nicer on the japanese version.

Looks great, we need a wagon version in the U.S. I’ll buy a wagon as soon as they get here. The sooner the better.

Bring the Wagon to the US!! US market needs a great wagon with luxury appointments like Nav, homelink, “Smart” key system, and good MPG (mid 20s combined or better) that runs on regular fuel. I will buy 2 if I can fit my road bicycle inside with without taking wheels off!! Better yet, make it a hybrid. I will buy 3!!

Please bring all 3 models to NA as is, especially the hatch. If you need more engine a v6 or adding a turbo to the 4 is fine. I am all for power, but don’t give me a fat car. I also need it in the showroom sooner than later to replace my 2003 Mazda 6. I wanted the hatch then and you didn’t offer it the first year. Stick the landing year 1 this time. Thank you.

Pretty nice design…let’s just hope you can get it in a stick. Can’t believe that a company that markets itself as a cure to the boring family sedan only offers a manual transmission in the 2008 base “sport” model, which means you can’t buy a nicely decked out version with leather seating or DVD/navigation in a fun-to-drive manual. From the pix, looks like you can get the 2009 in leaver/NAV/stick, at least in Europe. I’ll upgrade my 2003 to the 2009 in a heartbeat if it comes in a stick…and if they improve the old gas-guzzling V6.

Mazda will keep me as a customer if they bring this exact car out as a quality fun to drive product at a lower price than Honda, or Nissan. Whoohoo bring it Mazda !

Great looking wagon. Hope it beats mpg of CX-7, another stunning vehicle from Mazda.

Come on, we’re waiting! Bring it here with as few changes as possible. Please don’t make me wait so long that I have to buy a boring Accord instead.

 Bring it to the US just like this, and bring the 5 door and station wagon too - My Sis is looking for a replacement for her Passat Wagon and can’t find any of the Mazda6 wagons anymore…
….not everyone with a family of 4 + dog wants SUV’s and Minivans.

 The new 6 is awesome just as it is. Please don’t dumb it down for the U.S. market!
