Ford needs to bring back the Bronco but not half a$$ed its needs to be the toughest thing out there. it cant be all plastic like the way ford has been going with their SUV's. What American needs is a true Bronco something people can be proud to own and know wont let them down. I love my 89 and 91 bronco's and the 86 we used to have they are the toughest things ive ever seen. We need something like that in production full of American steel. My mom has an escape and even she doesnt really like it. it just feels odd. Not enough metal. If you cant destroy someone else if you get hit it aint a Ford.

Im on my 5th ford truck, a 2005 Ford F-250 superduty and i can tell you it will be my last. The so called "minor" fuel injector recall on the gas engines just cost me $6,000 for a new engine. The injector on cylinder no. 2 was stuck open which caused the gas to flood the cylinder and wipe out all my bearings which caused the engine to lock up. It was then towed to Wayne Ford in Wayne, NJ where they then "fixed" the injector but the engine sounded like it had a loud knock in it. They wanted me to authorize to pull the engine and tear it down for about $2,000-$3,000 and if ford felt that it was caused by that injector, they would replace the engine. If not, i would pay for that plus replacing the engine out of my pocket. Why should their FAULTY ENGINEERING be MY problem? When ford has the final say, whos to say any different, right? They let me leave with the truck under my better judgement and when i get home there is a puddle of oil under my truck. I called the service manager and they said the "mechanic" that changed the injector had to change the oil due to the mixing of gas/oil from the injector and made a note on the slip that the oil plug was stripped, but put it back in the truck and never told me about it or gave me that slip. I called ford motor company 2 times and wasted about 3 hours talking to them about what im supposed to do with a $50,000 3 year old truck with a blown engine and their response was the same. I guess thats why chevy and dodge give you a 100,000 mile warranty and ford gives you 36,000 mile warranty. Ford should look at all their recalls and all the hundreds of thousands of vehicles and "loyal" owners that has to waste time and money by bringing in their vehicles for recalls to these backyard mechanics they have working at their dealerships that should be fixed by now and rethink their engineering staff. Ford motor company obviously does not care about a customer that paid $50,000 for this vehicle or care to address it to the dealership that "they hired to work on their vehicles". So, a new engine at only 80,000 miles old? Ive always been a ford guy, but built ford tough? Not even close!!!

I have owned 3 Ford trucks and my father 5. We have had nothing but good luck with them all. They are stout and built to last. You don't get to be the number one selling line of trucks by building junk. Sure the Chevy/GMC and Toyota offer a more powerful engine option, for now...but lets not forget about the rest of the truck. As I recall from a Ford advertisement I saw in a magazine, it read...FRAME FRAME FRAME, ours is the strongest. So true, I have drove/ridden in Chevy/GMC half tons, they have a nice squishy car like ride but I would be afraid to even throw a dead grass hopper in the back for fear of overloading it! As I have read in many articles the new F-150 just needs engine and transmission enhancements to take care of one of it's few weaknesses (compared to the competition). I am confident Ford will answer the competition as they want to maintain truck leadership. Ford you keep building them like you have and you have at least two Ford owners for life.
They are stout and built to last. You don’t get to be the number one selling line of trucks by building junk. Sure the Chevy/GMC and Toyota offer a more powerful engine option, for now…but lets not forget about the rest of the truck. As I recall from a Ford advertisement I saw in a magazine, it read…FRAME FRAME FRAME, ours is the strongest. So true, I have drove/ridden in Chevy/GMC half tons, they have a nice squishy car like ride but I would be afraid to even throw a dead grass hopper in the back for fear of overloading it! As I have read in many articles the new F-150 just needs engine and transmission enhancements to take care of one of it’s few weaknesses (compared to the competition). I am confident Ford will answer the competition as they want to maintain truck leadership. Ford you keep building them like you have and you have at least two Ford owners for life.

I can't wait to see the next F-150' hopefuly it will have more horsepower and maybe even a new lightning, i am sick of hearing about those crust chevys and how much more horsepower their trucks have over FORDS, it would be nice if FORD makes a limited edition full size BRONCO' i have a 1995 BRONCO xlt that i purchased in "95" I LOVE IT just as much as when i first drove it off the dealer lot' it's still running strong i never had any problems with it. I can’t wait to see the next F-150′ hopefuly it will have more horsepower and maybe even a new lightning, i am sick of hearing about those crust chevys and how much more horsepower their trucks have over FORDS, it would be nice if FORD makes a limited edition full size BRONCO’ i have a 1995 BRONCO xlt that i purchased in “95″ I LOVE IT just as much as when i first drove it off the dealer lot’ it’s still running strong i never had any problems with it. So please FORD listen to us when we beg you to give the next F-150 with a bigger engine size and more horsepower we all know you can do it…and please bring back the BRONCO……….LET’S GO FORD!!

2 explorers
2 expiditions
1 Tarus
2 f150'

My wife and I drove all of them thru 100,000 miles trouble free
My son has the 1997 WITH OVER 225,000 MILES ON IT- AND IT STILL LOOKS GOOD and runs good. I just droped it off for a small oil leak from the tranny. I have always kept it leak free as well as the others. I drive the 2004 crew cab f 150 and except fot the factory tires it has a great rides, both trucks are 4x4's.

I think Ford need to stay arround the $35k for their top of the line trucks to stay #1-

i have a 2006 f150 SCrew and love iit. It is a great truck. My only other three trucks have been a 1976 F100, a 1982 F100 (i still have with over 300,000 miles of hard driving on the truck..not the engine, i upgraded to mustang cobra engine with more HP), and a 1992 bronco which i wish i still had. the o6 seems strong but i would like a little more hp out of it, maybe a couple more gears for the performance ideal. I get tired of hearing chevy and toyota and nissan with their Higher HP sales kicks but i wouldn't trade my FORD F150 for none of them.....Ford, please add more HP and don't forget the customers in the revamp of the f series. and while you're at it...how about giving us guys some hope on the sparkplug problems with the 5.4-3v

Come on, Lets get something done here. We need to redesign the F-150. Need a new size engine and a 6 speed tranny that match up against the Tundra. Its just a matter of time. Don't do like the Chevy and Dodge did to there engine. Running on v-8 and 4. Waste of money. Already has problems. Just change on body syle, just get the wind drag down. I know you guys will come up with something, so do it and surprise us!! Loves the Harley Davison Supercrew. Awsome!!

What is going on with Ford. The new Toyota truck has more power and a six speed auto over the Ford F150. I want to buy a new truck to tow my 66 Ford Mustang a race car. I sure as hell do not want to tow it with a Toyota, but according to the specs. it is the best half ton truck out there. Ford what is going on.

I own an 2005 F-150 XL, I'm 24yrs old, my first truck. I'm a Ford guy, why can't we have a 5 or 6 speed transmission in the F-150 series, when you can get it in the Torque-shift on the superduty, everyone is getting more gears for faster acceleration and better fuel economy. Give it to us too. I get about 14.5 mpg on my V-6 going to and from work, I know whe can do better that that, that was why I got the V-6, a little economy, but I was wrong. Please make the next generation F-150 with more power, better acceleration, and better mpg, I know thats what everyone wants, but I know you can do it knock the imports out of the truck buisness, they sure stepped up with the new Tundra, and Chevy an 8.1L engine. Built Ford Tough can do it, Please don't let us down.

Ford trucks are the only trucks I have owned. They are so dependable and will run forever. I had a 84 ranger that ran until another ford product totaled it. I never had to do anything to it other than regular maintance. I had it until 1997 then I have had 5 other trucks. Which i didn't keep so I could upgrad them

If Ford trucks inspire loyalty -then why are Ford ignoring the Ranger here in the US?

I saw some great Thai-built Rangers while in the Caribbean recently, but they're not sold here - Why Not?
Once again, Ford N.A. keeps flogging the ancient crap (Focus1, Ranger, Crown Vic/Grand Marquis) and sending the good stuff to other markets (Mondeo/Focus2/Thai Ranger/Ka)

No wonder Toyota sells more cars and trucks in the US than Ford - Ford isn't even trying anymore...

I will own nothing but Ford. My 97 Expedition just keeps on going, almost 170,000 miles and it still gets us around in style with the ruggedness it takes to live on the farm and all of the towing jobs you can through it’s way. With a family of 6 it’s the only way to travel in the North Country when the weather gets tough. GO FORD!! We have 3 of you best. Keep them coming.

Keep going. I've got a 1997 4x4 Expedition that just turned over 300,000 miles and is still going strong. I replaced the starter at around 220k and the alternator at around 230k. That's it other than routine maintenance. Absolutely the best vehicle I've ever owned.
